Facebook for the senior generation
For those of my generation who do not and cannot comprehend why Facebook exists: I am trying to make friends outside of Facebook while applying the same principles.
Therefore, every day I walk down the street and tell passers-by what I have eaten, how I feel at the moment, what I have done the night before, what I will do later, and with whom.
I give them pictures of my family, my dog, and of me gardening, taking things apart in the garage, watering the lawn, standing in front of landmarks, driving around town, having lunch, and doing what anybody and everybody does every day.
And it works just like Facebook..........
I also listen to their conversations, give them the "thumbs up" and tell them I like them.
I already have four people following me: two police officers, a private investigator, and a psychiatrist
ROTFLMAO
Gotta share dat one.
You need to pin some "Memes" to your shirt.
A Meme is a photo, usually of a well known person in a movie or TV commercial, with some sort of pithy saying superimposed on it; it is required to make a false comparison or other wise over simplify a complex issue.

A meme often appears in the form of photos, etc., but is not the physical object. It is more of a popular or pseudo-intellectual fad.
Wikipedia says: A meme is "an idea, behavior, or style that spreads from person to person within a culture".
I don't have an iPhone. (or Facebook)
My family does a lot of chattering and sharing on iMessage.
I know nothing else other than it seems to work for their internal lines of communication.

A dictionary is a history book; it records the history of what words once meant.
An example is "awful." Originally it meant "full of awe." Now it means "bad, terrible."
The Facebook meaning is as I described.
