Canada, an actual civilized first world country, wonder what that's like?

What in the world would make you so friendly with Canadians? Most have a severe case of "size matters".

Canadians are good folks. Pittsburgh's Canadians beat everybody else's Canadians this year to win the Stanley Cup.

Any country that produced Red Green and Lorne Greene is alright in my book.

Sesquicentennial is a word the local newspapers have been forced to learn recently as our local county seat metropolis is celebrating such an anniversary. Special events are strung throughout the entire year with the largest grouping of such special attractions coming up in about two weeks.

Way back in 1986 I was spending a good bit of time in the Houston area where the locals were tossing around this six-syllable term routinely. Seems as though it may have even appeared on the automobile license plates.

In 9 years we, Americans, will be learning the word "Sestercentennial".
