Don't forget Detective Gannon.
Criminy! I feel ancient
I remember him from the TV show December Bride and its spin-off Pete and Gladys long before he turned up on Dragnet.
And Max Duggan
Loved him as the town marshal in "The Shootist".
As well as Gannon and Potter, I'll always remember him as the judge in "Inherit the Wind".
He was great in those old westerns. I'm thinking Cat Ballou was another, could be wrong.
I remember his famous line "WHEN DO WE NOON?"

Loyal
He had a way of bringing his characters to life and could be entertaining all by himself. He could also work off another actor and continue the action until the director ran him off the scene.
Harry Morgan, Jack Webb and the great Jack Benny...

Yes, the James Garner ones was what I remember. Good flicks.
Harry Morgan, Jack Webb and the great Jack Benny...
I had never seen him with facial hair/sideburns. Even at that age he was trying to fit in with the latest style.
Thanks for the video link Dave.
