The CIA recently set up a Flickr album of their cartography drafting tools.?ÿ Sounds geeky, but it's kinda cool.

I note a few items are mislabeled, but who am I to correct the CIA??ÿ ???? ???? ?????ÿ
Taken when they raided my office ????ÿ
I guess the CIA has a lot of free time on their hands to allot resources to archive and do an inventory if their drafting tools. I would have thought most of them would be doing satellite surveillance over Iran or North Korea. And that Cartography album has one of the most views.
I would suspect those items are from the museum that they decided to photo before they boxed them up. The CIA, more than likely, doesn't "do" drafting anymore and instead relies on other Agencies to provide them with mapping/drafting needs. For those interested, there is a great deal of really cool history out there about the OSS which became the CIA and the birth of the other Agencies.
