All it really needs to do is call people and let people call me. Showing me what time it is is nice but not essential. Everything else is just a bunch of crap. Scrap all of that, make the keys bigger and the letters/numbers bigger on the screen.
Wendell....I have been playing with a Droid 2 for a week or so...pretty cool...
I am still hoping for getting a Droid X this month....
Our office manager says it will happen....
I have a flip phone with Verizon service. I like it. However, LSU issued me a "smartphone" and I do not like it. It's an "HTC Fuze" and I get text messages, e-mail, syncs with my office computer, etc. I forward my flip phone number to the LSU thingy that I HAVE to carry so that friends and family that have my old cell number can still get me at that number. The blasted "HTC Fuze" is impossible to answer calls while driving ... might be a good thing ... but the software system frequently locks up and is prone to all sorts of weird behavior. The touch feature really is too sensitive at times for anything other than using the stylus and at other times the touch feature won't even work.
I think it's a dog, and it uses AT&T service.
Simpler is better.
