We left Sunday afternoon, 4:30 pm after picking my 16 yr old daughter up. SWMBO, my 2 1/2 yr old grand daughter (Abbi), April (16), myself and the two dogs, Sam and Banjo. We are good travelers, dogs included. Sam is a 6 yr old golden doodle SWMBO rescued from the local shelter, or maybe the doodle rescued her. Banjo the Spanish Water Dog is my guy.
We are heading first to Savannah to deliver Abbi to my Marine son Kris, where he and his bride to be will join us with her 4 yr old and we will all continue down to my mother and sisters in Orlando. Arrived in Savannah ageD of schedule, 1039 am Monday morning. Poked around briefly, switched vehicles due to a hertz screwup at the beginning and took a leisurely drive to finish off by 430pm Monday. 24 hours straight.
Now we are doing the opposite, left grandmas at 900 am with a 800am arrival tomorow morning. SWMBO wants first shift (fine with me). And I get the over night. As of should be! I like driving through and that midnight to day break is the best time for me. Quiet and fast roads.
I can't post pics yet but let me say that having four generations at my 87 yr old mothers house was fun. Their e dogs and 4 cats plus my two dogs and 7 additional people sure filled her house up! She was pleases although tired easy.
The kids were at Disney each day while SWMBO got two beach days at cocoa beach.
Great time overall. If you're on 95 north today and see a white streak fly by it might be us. Dodge caravan, cool road machine with the three of us with dogs.
Ciao for now. Updates later.

[sarcasm]I didn't see you wave back as you went by my exit in Maryland[/sarcasm] :-/
(when the leaves are down, I can about see the Baltimore beltway from my house, can certainly hear the traffic)
