This system blew through here last night with baseball size hail in areas and a lot of small strong storm cells moving at 50-60 mph.
Even now that it way far away, we are getting N winds of 20+ mph with gusts to 40+
It seems to have organized into a real system so expect the worse as far as wind damage, trees and power down.

I stopped by Wally World last night and there was no white bread left at all. There was only skim milk. We got less than an inch of snow.

I remember that kind of experience from my days living in the Snow Belt next to Lake Michigan on the west side of Michigan. Shopping carts full of cigarettes and toilet paper. Wine was another storm favorite based on viewing shopping carts at the supermarket. Bread and milk were the first to disappear, followed by the other items mentioned. Oh yeah, disposable diapers by the truck load.

We're stocked up on diapers. The Mrs took care of that today. I have 3 little ones and 2 are still in diapers.....really hoping we don't lose power

Just last night the forecast was for 4-8". We already have about 12" on the ground & it is still coming down hard. The current prediction is for upwards of 20" and we are now under a blizzard warning. At least the local ski areas will be happy!

Oh my, to an aspiring brewer and beer snob like myself, this just makes me drool! I wonder if I can find this anywhere in my neighborhood (I doubt it).
