Was reading a snippet of biography on William Hanna of the Hanna-Barbera cartoon empire and discovered he was born in New Mexico Territory in 1910.?ÿ That sparked the question as to whether or not there may still be a handful of people alive who were born in New Mexico Territory or Arizona Territory.?ÿ Oklahoma (or Indian) Territory is possibly down to zero by now as that was 113 years ago.?ÿ But there should be plenty of people who were born in Alaska Territory or Hawaii Territory.?ÿ Don't think I know anyone, personally, who was born in a US Territory that is currently a State.?ÿ How about you?

Being so close to Oklahoma I have read many obituaries that list the place of birth as Indian Territory or Oklahoma Territory.?ÿ I believe my Fifth Grade teacher and the main Sixth Grade teacher qualified.

?ÿ

I'm pretty sure most (if not all) folks that were born in Oklahoma (or Indian) Territory are all gone by now.?ÿ My paternal grandparents were both born in Woods, Co., O.T.?ÿ A childhood buddy of mine's father was named "O.T." (just initials) for the Territory. I believe he was born in '06.

There's a possibility that someone here on RPLS.com was born in a US Territory as Alaska was a territory until 1959.

I've got a friend up in Washington state who was born in the Alaska Territory in 1959.
