With Kellen Moore in the Heisman race BSU will get a lot more attention. At 13-0 they will be demanding maybe even suing for the title game. Who cares? They have only beaten Georgia #25 in AP not in the BCS 25 (maybe BCS this week).
Meanwhile the Big Teams do what they do every year, beat up on each other, in tough game after tough game. BCS #3 Oklahoma lost, which should move Oklahoma State and BSU up to 3 and 4. In a few weeks #1 and 2 square off. If number #2 beats number 1, then all that means is they should swap ranks. It does not neccessarily mean they should drop below anyone else. Come December 3, Oklahoma is at Oklahoma State very likely the Big 12/10/8 whatever championship game. The Big 10/12 champion will have at least 1 loss, maybe 2, and it will be tough for Stanford to get through the PAC 12 unscathed.
The shame is that the 2 best teams in the SEC are in the same division. Heck I would have no problem if Alabama and LSU play each other in the SEC title and if they swap wins then let them square off in the BCS championship as the rubber match.
Personally I see the BCS Championship as no problem with teams that have a loss.
As far as Boise State goes, they should hear what Penn State heard everytime they went undefeated, "Play a tougher schedule!"
Paul in PA
I think Bama and LSU could rematch in the BCS title game.

So Paul, what you're saying is to go to some kind of playoff system. Seems logical enough to me, and would undoubtedly solve all this world crisis about rankings.
It's just a hard sell on all the money makers & shakers in the entire Bowl industry. Including the high schools, college teams, leagues, cities, and media. No doubt some politico's also in the mix.
Not to mention academia for those woebegone athletes whose retina's are seeing nothing but spoon fed 7 figure incomes after the game d'jour.
...kinda tongue in cheek. It's looking like some good football heating up for the next few weeks, for certain.
May the Better Team Always Win.
