We will finally know or at least have a solid idea on who is playing for the BCS National Championship then find out where all the other teams are going to wind up in bowl games.

And predictions for upsets today?

Darn OU/NU game is not until tonight but I think without their running QB then Nebraska is going to have a tough time against OU with their fast play calling.

I was actually planning on getting up early, driving 150 miles and finishing the last 3500' of an eight mile topo this morning....

Watched the weather and saw the forecast...let the dog out at 4AM...hmmmm, north wind...

Decided to stay indoors today and watch football with Mrs. Money Penny.

To keep cozy tonite I think I'll serve 'Bloody Bulls'. One of my Grandfather's winter drinks: Basically a Bloody Mary with beef broth added and served hot in a mug.

That last 3500' can wait til Monday.

Big upset today....for Bo Pelini.....Boomer.

Boomer Sooner!!!

Thanks Blake. I thought is was over already but I just got mine done in time. Going for the SC upset today for all the points. I'm in ninth place and can't fall much more so time to play the risky choices.

I'm going with OU over Nebraska though based on the later part of the season and the fact that the NU QB will not play.

BRING IT ON!

Likely the kiss of death since I'm running about 10% this year on my predictions but OU 41 NU 21.

The hurry up offense of the Sooners will make the difference today and NU will not have the firepower to stay up in the scoring.

You can thank me later JP if my prediction is wrong as usual. 🙂

BRING IT ON!

I'm not trying but it seems that I have been wrong a lot more than right this year. I think today I'll be okay though. I think the Sooners just blow out Nebraska this time around.

Unless the dark shirts have a really good game and the Sooners are a bit suspect on tossing interceptions this year so that could swing the game. Turnovers could be the key but just looking at the last few week then I think the Sooners are just hotter than Nebraska.

Lot's of intangibles in this game though. The Big 12 Beebe's decision to not travel and award the trophy to Nebraska last week because of threats.

Nebraska leaving the Big 12 and the perceived ref's bias against them.

It could have a LOT of drama.

CIVIL WAR TODAY HERE IN OREGON!!! :good:

Ducks VS. Beavers

The entire STATE has gone bezerk!! All of our local restaurants, bars, pubs, etc...are throwing "Civil War" parties. It gets pretty wild in these places because they are filled with both Duck and Beaver fans. I'm gonna stay home and watch on TV. Safer that way. 🙂

BRING IT ON!

I work with a lot of Huskers, and have been listening to BIG smack talk all week. It has almost made me feel sorry for Texas' ugly little sister.
