Nebraska ranked ahead of Wisconsin? Now that's funny!

I kind of thought the same thing. WTF, or is it WGAS. Then again, Mich State beat Wisconsin last year and they had identical records, but somehow the Badgers went to the Rose Bowl. The entire ranking system is screwed up IMVHO...

Next weekend in Lincoln is gonna be a doozy, eh. I'm a diehard Sparty and my SWMBO is a Husker alumni and former cheerleader. Not sure if I want to cook up some venison just because, or include a bunch of extra RED sauce in my deviled eggs - just because. Regardless, it's gonna be a good one.

Was crossing the river while the game was being played and I slowed down so that my daughters could hear the "roar" coming from the stadium. They were amazed at how loud it was.

Prof. Juan Lorenzo of the Geology Dept. once measured the crowd's roar (with his seismograph) during a game, and it measured something (I don't know what) on the Richter Scale.

It was very loud, like I said, we were on the bridge, crossing the river, and we could hear it as we drove.
