But I have been intrigued about going to some Cactus league games too. Aren't most of the games based in Scottsdale & Tucson? Never have though, but have been to a couple Diamondbacks regular season games. Really cool stadium & you can take the light rail to get there so you don't have to drive.

Cactus League is in full "swing" here in the desert - nothing like the sweet smell of citrus, bratwurst, beer and sunscreen to get winter off your mind. we caught the Diamondbacks Sat nite, and we'll be off to Surprise for some 3-17 fun in the sun with the Rangers and Diamondbacks. suggest you expand from the DD - check Yelp for other bars in your area...

you could shave some time off that trip from Kingman by going to a game in Surprise, Peoria or Goodyear - all nice parks.

Yea Joe, by the time I think about it I'm too late. Besides, I'm kind of glued to my Center Ice this time of year to watch my Red Wings. Plus it is a bit of a drive, so the only time I ever go there is for Red Wing hockey, or baseball or football if I get comped tickets, or an APLS Conference or Board meeting.
edit: Didn't really know they ventured all over the city. I always thought it was primarily based in Tucson, but only in the past few years have expanded around. I'll check it out.
My sis and her husband just got back from Phoenix for some spring baseball Sunday.
Just me... Flying out Friday and back Monday. My BIL lives there and a few friends. He has season tix at ho ho kam. I think we are doing Dodgers/giants on saturday. Went to Fenway South, the new Red Sox stadium here in ft Myers. Nice, but they need to work on staffing. I like the Twins stadium much better. Oh, camper trip is this summer. !!!
