With the recent solar storm, there will probably be more chances to view the Northern Lights. I'm about 60 miles north of NYC, so we almost never see them, but I thought maybe this time. . . I checked at about 10 PM and we were completely clouded in, so that was that.
Anyone see them? If so, where?
Any good sites on predicting them?

I am near Boston and didn't see them. Supposedly last night was a real big night from 9PM to 3AM so I am sure they were visible around me.
I forgot about it, but I have seen them so many times before that it wasn't a big deal, but for anyone who hasn't seen them at full power it is incredible. I can just imagine what the natives thought.
We had clouds and snow last night- Freezing rain this am - so no luck here.
This is a link I got from a buddy in Fairbanks.
Awesome display up here last night, or rather this morning, 1 a.m. or so. Didn't get any pictures but they were great!

Got up to let dog at at 2am, lights going pretty darn good. Not so much at my 4:30am dog walk and hot tub. Somewhat limited viewing due to broken high clouds.
They were out though, some awesome photos out there:
nothing in b-more, approx latitude 39 north. i got up at 1 am to chase out a skeezer and her john, parked in front of the hacienda. she was mouthifying his piece and he had just twisted up a skinny to smoke.
getting tired of roaches and rubbers in the street when i go to work in the morning. swmbo doesn't want me taking care of it my own way, regrettably
Sorry, Dude. I didn't know that was your home. I'll be sure to park on down the street a ways in the future.
