It appears the USA does not have permission to see the video.
@richard-imrie are you a kiwi or otherwise live outside the United States??ÿ Here's your video link:?ÿ
?ÿand when I go through here, https://www.americascup.com/how-to-watch, which promises "To ensure both the most accessible and most complete live and highlights coverage from broadcasters in well over 195 territories...", I get this:
America's Cup continues to bungle the video coverage.?ÿ Enjoy watching from your geo-approved TV rights area.?ÿ I was (foolishly) looking forward to thinking this was going to be possible this year.?ÿ
?ÿ
Some information on the race
Yeah sorry about that, I'm in the SW Pacific so I can get it, and I thought being America's Cup, USA would get it too - if you can get a peep at it, there's some amazing sailing things too see.
We got TC Yasa rocking through here at the moment, and everything's shutdown with a 4pm to 6am curfew about to start. I'm about 150km SSE of the eye so it's quite benign here but getting the America's Cup live is quite timely.
Live coverage is available in the US through NBCSN GOLD America's Cup Pass for only $175<g>.
@richard-imrie I hear Fiji's really getting hammered horrible.?ÿ
The $175 sure pisses me off. this AC is not really in boats as much as wind powered aircraft.?ÿ
Now the Round the World Vendee Globe is really something to follow. The leaders are passing south of NZ now on the way to Cape Horn. At close to 500 miles a day at times in real boats. Singlehanded in 60 footers. 6 out of 33 starters are women, all French except a German, an Italian, a Japaneese and a few Britts.?ÿ ?ÿ
The northern parts of Fiji got hammered but not where I am about 3km from Nadi International Airport. Electricity was out a few times but that's all - have had a lot worse, the worst part being after the TC has gone and electricity is out for a week.
I understand that some of those Round the World boats are also foilers, and that a couple have lost foils from hitting something.
