Had ours Saturday during the Caledonia Days activity's in Athena. 12 showed up out of 18, it was an enjoyable gathering. Didn't graduate with them in 61 but still welcome, some only knew that I had disappeared suddenly in 59 when I went into the Navy, that surprised me. All seemed to be doing well and for the most part healthy. Have avoided such things most of my life, but glad I went. The foxy girls are all foxy mature ladies now and some of the less foxy girls have matured into foxy women, enjoyed getting reacquainted with all of them and talking about some of the wild rides and other adventures we all had.

Had ours Friday & Saturday at the Marriott World Center in Orlando. Out of a class of 265, about 75 showed up for at least one day and/or evening. Balboa High School (Panama Canal Zone) is now just for Panamanians, so Florida seemed to be the best venue for a reunion. Was surprised that one classmate that went to Annapolis eventually wound up as a Catholic Priest! He said mass on Saturday afternoon & I went to that at the local Basilica.
There was news of about a dozen classmates that are now dead; I only remembered one that was a friend of mine.
Wonder who will be alive to show up for the 75th?
I have mine coming, in August.
40 year class reunion
Our 40-year reunion will be this Friday evening. So far, about 40 out of 55 possibles have sent in reservations. One is in prison and at least four are deceased out of the original 60 or so that graduated together. We will have a few others attend who were only with us for part of the experience. There are at least six teachers still living nearby who may attend. There may be others still alive, but, they will not be invited under any circumstances.
In the planning stage of our 40th year reunion now set for September 24. 57 graduated in our class and 30 are expected to show.
Was ask to cook for the event, so I may be on the path for a new career after retirement, lol.
