took advantage of the warm weather in NH yesterday to take care of some pre-winter chores that I had procrastinated on.
Sunday night, we had 6 inches of snow and by Monday mid-morning, it was all gone with temps in low 50's. I had a chance to get up on my Sugarbush and pick up all the dead limbs and trees that had fallen over the sap lines. It's a job that is near impossible after winter snows have taken over. The tubing simply disappears into the snow, then comes up 50 feet away and you have to cut the tubing and pull it out of the snow instead of simply moving (or cutting) the tree and lifting the tubing off the ground.
Got most of my logs sawn up that the neighbor has been patiently waiting for, and shot up one septic design.
Now we have three fresh inches of snow and it's snowing hard now. Back to sweating copper pipe on the spec house.
Perry,
That is an awesome house you are building. Are you going to be living in it yourself?
Merry Christmas,
Jimmy
