That's what the forcast was.

One of the guys at work got 20+" just since yesterday and had to break out the Toyota pick-up to get in this morning. Add a foot on top of that since Sunday-Tuesday and the 4" turn into almost 3 feet at his place.

Oh well, we were all complaining about lack of moisture.

It would just be nice to know ahead that this stuff might be falling.

Has my friend Kent in Austin tweaked the Republic's Weather Machine ?

We had persons in shorts yesterday and it is now a gale wind with 2/3" of snow .

Cheers

Journalism majors have a tendency to grapple and not understand graphs and numbers and went beyond the correct catagories and read the % percipitation as the amount of snowfall.....:-O ....4 out of 3 journalists don't understand fractions....:-S

Tell me about it! I have field work to do, but...
Monday, Hard rain all day on top of the 2 feet of snow from last week.
Tuesday, more rain.
Wednesday, rain turned to ice and snow.
Got so bordered that I started posting in Morse Code 😀

I have to get outside!

This one fooled em.

Sat on one spot and wouldn't leave.

I just hope the mountain got some of it; that's where it was really needed.

Yes Jim as SWMBO has relatives in the North Island.

A number of year sago we 'did' all of NZ in two weeks in a camper.

You do grow viscous bitin' bugs in spots.

Looks like fun!

But, no, I don't wish I was there.

I can't wait to spend Sunday on the mountain skiing.
We should have great snow and it's Super Bowl Sunday so it will be empty.

As an aside, I was just talking to a guy who was going to spend Tuesday floating and fishing the Big Horn River. He whimped out at the last minute. Seems no one wanted to go when it was near zero.
