Sad. Then you won't remember WWIV or Wildcat and connecting at 300 baud with your IBM 5150. Don't you remember that exciting upgrade to a 286 and a 2400 baud modem?
Happy birthday (yesterday)! Hope it was a good one for you. 🙂
Trust me, I wish it had at least been an Applebee's meeting. Ruth's Cris Steakhouse would be better.
Not as awesome as you. Can you feel the love in here? I can.
Thanks, Ms. Penny, and everyone else! 🙂
Mozel Tov the both of you !
Wendell, like YOS's, best move he ever made .................. was on Angel.
Have a Happy
Cheers
Alexandra and Derek
It was in Africa ... what used to be Zaire...and those was the best things I could scavenge from the Camp supplies.
Congratulations Wendell and Angel. !!!!
“I love you, Pea” 🙂
My wife (of 42 years) calls me “wormy”. Don’t ask.:-P
Have a great weekend, and best wishes for many more anniversaries. Say hey to Miranda and Elly, and, of course, the rodents. 😉
Y'all ROCK! :good:

SysOp!! Now there's an old term I remember well. 🙂
I can remember paying $50 for my 2400 baud and griping about it costing so much.

Thanks all, again. Ya give me the warm fuzzies!!!
IBM sucks. C=64 all the way.
Feh. I don't need a 2400 baud modem. Who can read that fast?
The major upgrade was a 3.5 inch 1581 Floppy Disk Drive. My sister bought a C=128 there near the end of Commodoredom.

That's what I had, Andy. a Commie...in COLOR. I thought I was the S#!T cause mine was one of the first that was in color. And I was all excited because it only took 7 minutes to boot up!! 😀
