I also know the somebody else. I know they set a monument about 200 feet from locus in the wrong location by about 0.5' (good work holding the new street layout guys and forgetting that the lot was created when the road was private, ever hear of derelict fee?).
This is the same outfit that underbid me on another project, then called to ask what happened to the Benchmark down the street. It was wiped out by a plow, but I would be happy to re-establish one for you in vicinity for a fair fee based on my fee schedule not yours.
