Does a land surveying company located in Texas have to be owned by a licensed surveyor?

Scenario would be licensed in Texas surveyors on staff but owned by someone not registered. Is that allowed?

@another_texas_surveyor?ÿ Actual staff in house or a branch of some conglomerate??ÿ Shooting from the hip, I'd say SAM if it's the latter.?ÿ Just a wild guess, I have no experience with TX.

SAM is the largest surveying firm in Texas. We were RPLS owned but now we're owned publicly by a board of investors. We have multiple staff surveyors, 1200+ employees and 30 offices spread across the US.

I've been with SAM for 17 years and they have grown quite large since my first day here.
