Has anyone had experience with Timothy L. Davidson, dba Mapping Solutions in Henderson, Nevada. Ostensibly a survey broker, but not a land surveyor.
He was charged in 2012 with eight counts of felony forgery relating to the fraudulent use of the identity and stamp of a California RLS on seven ALTA surveys in California.
I know of an identical case in Arizona, again using someone else's stamp. This was the fraud case I posted about two years ago, where nothing on the survey drawing made sense, by many feet. The whole thing was fake.
obviously not a "DIMPLE" guy!
😛
You have email.

:good:
😀
Was the case in Arizona and Nevada from the same perpetrator? Your post made it sound like he jumped states.
Hope he didn't use mine! :'(

hmmm.. but if he did, then you could always blame him for an unintended mistake... (ok, not really, but if it was possible it'd be justified)
Bruce- do you have any links to the original case with the California surveys? I can't seem to find anything on line.
Thanks
Chuck, send me an e-mail bruce (dot) small (at) cox (dot) net and I'll tell you the rest of the horrid story.
Bruce,
It is the California Board's understanding that since Nevada filed criminal charges against this person, the District Attorney in the California county declined to file additional criminal charges. If anyone has evidence of other possible violations related to practice in California, please forward it to BPELS.Enforcement_information@dca.ca.gov
