Colleagues-
It isn't just boundary woes created by persons who make themselves popular with "busywork", its zoning too.
Courtesy of Patty Salkin's Law of the Land planning posts:
One could look to Google to see the particular property.
There would be few grounds for a neighbourhood noise complaint about lawn mowing !
..........................
If one has a zoning probload, although depending on your Province and State laws and case law, Patty's site is a gold mine for reference.
Cheers

Most of my zoning work is dealing with zoning issues...
I just got a review letter back for a simple lot split of a vacant 2 acre platted lot. I have to clearly identify the "old boundary" and the "new boundary". All I did is split a 600 x 165 lot in half, to make them 300 x 165. No other issues, than line labeling and some administrative notes they want. duh.... They always find something to nit pick, or they wouldn't have a job.
Now more prints, re-submitting, waiting, and trying to explain to client. The slower things get, the worse this kind of thing gets.
I meant...
most of my survey work is dealing with zoning issues...ugh..
