My 03 F150 has stick shift and manual windows, 325k. I would hate to lose that?ÿ
2006 Chevy 1/2 ton 428k miles
I wish I could find another just like it with less than 100k
@jaro?ÿ
Wow. Yours even has a working speedometer!
What are the most expensive repairs you've had to do in those miles? I'm looking to keep mine that long as well. It has 9200 hours on it.?ÿ

Truck is in camping mode this weekend.?ÿ
The box is actually starting to fall apart. It's been in this truck since around 2011. I'm not sure if it was new at the time or if they stole it from the dead f150. The wood is Completely rotten and screws are pulling out. I need to attempt to build another one.?ÿ
Marine grade plywood probably will cost about $1000.00 a sheet.
I am working on an idea to make a few slides for the way back area for my next build.

TIG welding or break-bending that would be a 3Dtetris challenge for sure!
I've been watching those car restorer series on Netflix, and from what I can work out, everybody in USA and Canada has a buddy that's a welder/fabricator.
I can tig weld and cobb stuff together with a mig, but I don't currently have a welder because I know three different guys that between them have tig, arc, mig, torches, and plasma cutters.?ÿ I don't think your assumption is far off for those of us who live in rural areas.?ÿ?ÿ
@murphy?ÿ
Gotta love the MIG....aka The glue gun for metal projects.... ???? ???? ?????ÿ
I wish I had the skill to do that. I've done a tiny bit of welding years ago with my friends help.?ÿ
The box will have to wait a bit with the price of wood right now. My first priority is to replace the passenger door, drivers fender and get it repainted.?ÿ

Do a search here for ??truck box?. ?ÿI just did, but I failed to find Jimmy Cleveland??s dropbox link to the multitude of photos, designs, etc. ?ÿI thought I had downloaded them to my dropbox, but apparently not.

The engine hours have reset on their own twice. I have no idea how many hours it has. It currently needs another oil pump. I am on my last few weeks before retiring from the construction company where I have been working for 22+ years. When the oil pump went out, I offered to buy it from them. They decided to give it to me. Got the title last week. I'm gonna do the oil pump myself.
