In January 2020 I shared some information here on a survey in the deepest boondocks with a rock bluff and searching for stones where they can be counted in the millions.?ÿ That was?ÿ a deja vu project as I was tying into work done several years earlier to the north of the tract being surveyed.?ÿ Today I received a call from the current owner of the land to the west of the original survey work and northwest of the January 2020 work.?ÿ One corner is common to all three jobs.?ÿ Getting to that corner is nearly impossible from the main portion of the first survey and the main portion of this, the third survey.
While working the project in January 2020 I expressed thankfulness for it being the middle of Winter when the snakes, spiders, mosquitoes, chiggers, tarantulas, etc. would be absent.?ÿ The overgrown housecats live there as long as the hunting is good.?ÿ My next journey will be in early June, I think.?ÿ I probably need to find a thick, leather body suit with built-in air conditioning in the next few weeks.?ÿ Both rattlesnakes and copperheads inhabit the property.
Someday I will finally learn to say "NO".?ÿ I hope so, anyway.
