In my opinion, if most of the people who spend a majority of their time reviewing and posting to this website on a daily (if not hourly) basis took that wasted time to "attend to business" they would be better off. I admit, I have not spent an inordinate amount of time reading anything here and perhaps my perception is wrong, but many posts demonstrate a true microcosm of what is wrong with our profession..... Stop whining about how much realtors make, stop habitually cutting each other's throats to see who can loose money the fastest, and start educating clients, standing your ground, and start charging what the service is worth.

As surveyors we provide a valuable service to society. The sooner we stop thinking of these skills as an hourly commodity at billing time and start focusing on the true value of the service, we will begin to make the money we "deserve".
