The ads that pop up on the webpages I visit really annoy me.
They are the same things that I was shopping for just the other day.
It would be better if they were something different and new to imagine about.
Gonna have to wipe out my history more often..........
It is starting to spread to my phone in some ways, how these people get my cell number is almost beyond me.

No need to wipe any history if you use Adblock Plus.
I am in the market for a new oven, so I went browsing over the weekend. Went to Sears and to Best Buy, looked at new ones, spoke with the salesmen, and went home. Didn;t buy anything anywhere. I watched a little basketbal and then got on the computer. Guess who had sent the most recent emails? That's right, Sears and Best Buy. I have recieved email in the past from Best Buy, but had been able to unsubscribe from the successfully - haven't seen anythin from them in about a year. I have never seen an email from Sears in my life. Coincidence? I'd like to think so, but I believe I know better...
I don't have a problem with a little SPAM, my server filters it well.
I do have a problem with data mining, and not being informed.
A few weeks ago I made a Amazon purchase: "Sold by No Cry and Fulfilled by Amazon."
a day or two later I got Spammed by No Cry... how the hell did they get my email address?
I checked my Amazon settings, no apparent method to Not allow third party permissions.
I searched real hard and finally found a Chat option.
Long story short: Amazon automatically provides much more personal info to Third Parties by default... what all it is they did not disclose:
Third Parties only Need my mailing address, Nothing else... not my personal email, buying history, saved searches, wish lists, etc.
there is no user option to block sending personal info that is Not essential to the transaction!
Amazon is now on my S*** List.
now I am off to do some Local Cash shopping... Rant Off
