It might cost just a little more ink to include an S in the bottom of the North Stick... er... arrow, but I think the appearance of an $ on the plat will remind customers what I'm about.
Guys, guys, guys. Keep it really simple. The entire plat merely needs to contain nothing but the following words.
I did it. For details send $1000 to me.
I decided to just stop buying the black ink cartridges for the printer.
Just use color with auto select. All report, letters print in a nice to the eye looking blue and I use an arty script italic font like Bradley Hand or Freestyle Script that makes it all look like it was nicely and neatly hand penned to the unsuspecting reader.
As for custom logos, don't need them here. with all the pretentiousness.
I just use a simple Fleur de Lis. Everyone loves a Fleur de Lis.
We're in the south. It's "ah done did it".

Change the company name to something that starts with N, then use N as your logo. Problem solved.

When I snap my fingers you will have an uncontrollable urge to pay my fee.
The only way I could get away with an order matrix like this is because I don't have my personal name in the business name. Those of us unethical bast_rds are going to make a killing using the Robison model. You suckers with your name on your shingle have got to be feeling pretty jealous about now.
The final "professional" touch you need now is a pendulum related company theme song that plays when someone goes to your website.
"We'll swing by in our chariot, coming for to survey your home."

Enter paper and ink costs in the "Cost of Goods Sold" category of your tax return. Profits are sure to swing your way.
You're really not thinking the whole franchise thing through. You've got a BRAND, not just some outmoded professional office. So that would be:
Basic pendu-surveyå©: $200
Site pendu-visit:å© add $75
Pendu-tapeå© measurements: add $25
Pendu-mapå© measurements: Tape +$25
Pendu-locateå© improvements (Google Earth): $15
Pendu-locateå© improvements by survey: all above +$37.50
Pendu-locateå© corners: $5 per corner
Set pendu-cornerså©: above + $5 per corner
Use pendu-flaggingå©: $3.50
Use pendu-paintå©: included in base price
Pendu-surveyå© plat: $25
Review by Actual Pendu-Surveyorå©: $10
Pendu-mapå© Upgrades: basic black (typically mostly legible) included
Heavy line pendu-weightså© (improve the legibility of your survey plat): $10
Pendu-colorå©: $15
That way, it is clear that only Pendulum franchise holders can deliver the product you are offering. So it is worth the extra $2.50.
You could have the Kent type order form check boxes ALREADY checked...and have them moving around making them almost impossible to uncheck
DDSM

That sounds kind of unethical... which is clearly what my business model is all about. I like it.

Yes, but now you can charge a premium price for your exclusive services. Raise your rates!

I think it's only a matter of time before Shawn realizes how much he is leaving on the table by not locking down "LAZER TOUCHLESS SURVEYS" as a business name.
Kent, I don't think you get it. You keep getting hung up on variations of business names. It doesn't matter what the name of the company is, so long as it isn't the name of the actual surveyor. Any name that doesn't include the name of the principal(s) is unethical without any need for further consideration. The name is just an ornament dangling from an profit driven obscenity, like fuzzy dice hanging from a rearview mirror. It's not the dice that say "classy", it's the car.
