It's not unusual for a lot line to be staked with line points. Often they were of the same material that the corners are monumented with. Also it's possible it's a 3 way corner for another property, Bill says the GIS doesn't show more property lines heading west but it could be one that got combined into one ownership. The Plat would help.?ÿ

My word yes you are correct, I didn't see that it was under the German heading, I just listened to it and thought that's exactly how it would be pronounced by locals in its country of origin Scotland.

This highlights the reason why giving all the information is so important.
The idea of privacy is simply silly. Land records are public for the most part. There is no mystery who the tax payer is on a lot. But, all posters here should realize that if you give us enough info to determine the answer, you have almost for sure revealed the location.
