Started surveying in the Summers while on break from College. Did that for 4 Summers and didn't realize how much I enjoyed surveying. Went to work in the "real" world and hated being inside so quit that and a couple of years after college went and got a job surveying and started classes soon after to work towards a PLS.

Been working as a Professional Surveyor now for 20+ years and probably still considered young for the profession.
