@bill93 Thanks! Do you know what the current edition is for Elementary Surveying and year published??
Will the 2008 edition cover those topics or need more up to date.
If you read and comprehend the 2008 version you will be a step ahead of 90% of your peers. When you have that you can decide if you want to go further. I understand that the book is not cheap.
GPS for Land Surveyors will bring you more up to date on those evolving topics (that book is now 7 years old itself).?ÿ

Boundaries and Adjacent Properties, Ray Hamilton Skelton (1930).
Old but insightful.
Tough to find and expensive when you do. Out of print for longer than most of us have been alive. A nice aspirational addition to a growing library.
Today I received the 6th Edition of Elementary Surveying in the mail, the book in excellent condition with absolutely zero markups, no highlights, no underlining??s. I am thrilled to revisit this lost book once again., my very first land surveying book I purchased at Penn State Mont Alto in 1979. It's amazing I bought this book for $5: I plan on buying a more recent edition at a later time.

@tonyd76 I have a nice copy of the "Manual of Survey Instructions for Public and Private Lands" dated 1894 by the Government Printing Office. As I am no longer active as a surveyor, I would gladly trade it for a battery for my T2002 or manuals to help me work on it. Most of my work is now spent in Theoretical Physics and I need the T2002 to use as a platform for recalculating Einsteins gravity lense theory. The book is in very good condition for its age. Thank you for your time. DOC
