Who & When Will We Hit 500,000 Posts?

If it's me it will be pure accident...
I figger it will go down something like this:
At 2 AM local time Wendell will mention to his sleeping wife (as he climbs in bed) that the 500K will probably occur before he wakes up. It's only a few posts away, and depending on how many early rising posters there are on the east coast there will probably be a "winner"...
Angel (feigning sleep) waits for Wendell and the cat's breathing to subside to slumber mode. She then quietly gets up, logs on, and proceeds to post a rash of entries ensuring the coveted "half-mil" post is hers.
It could happen...

I have no goal of being #500,000 but am trying to speed things along before the thrill of the chase wears off.
Seems to me that there have been a lot more posts in various categories lately compared to even a month ago. Maybe a cabin fever effect? It looks now like my guess as to the date will be a few days too late.
There is a very old story about a man who is dying. He and his wife have eight children. All but one have black hair and other features common to the father. The odd one has red hair and in no way resembles his father. On his deathbed he begs his wife to finally admit to him who is the father of the red-headed child. She calmly tells him that he is the father. Then she goes on to admit that the other seven were fathered by her husband's brother.
Absolute fidelity within a marriage is a wonderful thing. It should happen more often.
Be sure to stick with it to the very end.
