Looks downright inviting during a dry summer month. Probably not quite as nice in a wet, slick, freezing-cold winter month.

There's some sort of oddball gizmo hanging off the antenna. A non-standard radio modem? Either that or some really big off-plumb pole-like thing sticking up out of the brush in the background.
No Jim, that’s a flannel mullein (Scrophulariaceae Verbascum thapsus) in the back ground and that’s just a typical Leica 1230 rover setup (Switzerlandeae hardwareum ridiculous)

Well, it looks like the pole is standing on it's own or Mr. Martin is holding it upright with his knees which is always a pretty good trick. .:-)
