RADU Update

I haven't heard from Richard in years, hope everything turns out OK. I shared a hotel with him during an FIG conference in Sydney in 2010, he showed me around the city and we had a good time swapping survey tales.
RADU keep up the fight! You have been an inspiration to many many surveyors around the world. I consider myself one of the lucky ones that actually got to meet and have a meal with you at the ACSM in Utah...as I recall you muscled through your presentation even though you had a serious head cold from the travel.

Many thanks to JB Stahl for his hosting of a fantastic event that year. It was also my first adventure hanging out with Daryl Moistner and his lovely bride. We have since met up many times in Portland.

This is from his friend, Alison, that lives 3 minutes from him. ????
"Good afternoon everyone. I am just letting you all know that I have just had a lovely visit with Richard Abbott. He is still in hospital and does not know how much longer he will be there for. they are still trying to work out the best dosage of the medications for him. He is in very good spirits. I will keep you posted."
