Wow!

The compensation seems incredibly light for that position.

Sorry to hear that.

a search for "land surveyor" in the monster.com job search, shows ZERO hits within 200 miles of Wilmington NC.

a search for "land surveyor" in the careerbuilder.com job search, shows ZERO hits within 150 miles of Wilmington NC.

Seems to me Land Surveying companies may not be hiring near Wilmington NC.

Mike,

You are not being broad enough with your search criteria.

Try Surveyor, without any modifiers.

I did that for Monster.com and got a posting for someone that does title searches. Careerbuilder still had ZERO hits.

Actually that is about right for that area and being a temp position.

I know a couple of guys that would be all over that if it was closer to me.

thats a well paid rodman. At my former company, low pay resulted in high turnover and/or crap employees - they certainly don't have to worry about that now...
