Job Description

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects, a national multi-disciplined surveying and engineering firm, seeks a full time Survey Technician for our Kansas City, MO office. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, possess an ambitious work ethic, be a great team player who gets along well with others, is willing and able to travel as needed for extended periods, and enjoys working outside year round, and very dependable and punctual. You may be working on a variety of projects including topographic, boundary, and right of way surveying projects.

Required Skills

Qualifications include three to five years working survey experience, experience in the operation and set up of all instrumentation required for the collection or distribution of survey data (GPS Rover, Total Station, data collector, and level), good math and problem solving skills, ability to work outside in all weather conditions. This candidate must be physically able to complete all field tasks. Position requires non- restrictive driverƒ??s license, ability to travel frequently to project sites. Preference will be given to candidates with experience utilizing Trimble surveying instrumentation.

Safety is an extremely important part of what we do at Wilson & Company. Anyone hired for this position must properly wear and maintain Personal Protective equipment, and complete all Company and client required safety training.

Required Experience

Working knowledge of survey field coding systems.
