Survey Party Chief:
Our group, Southern Lifestyle Development, Louisiana??s largest single family and mixed use/smart growth residential developer, has an immediate opening for a survey party chief in our Baton Rouge, Louisiana office. Southern Lifestyle Development, the development team behind River Ranch in Lafayette, specializes in developing residential, commercial and retail mixed use large scale communities across the state. This is a long-term opportunity to work on the surveying and data collection of major projects in the state. The position entails but is not limited to the following:
- Collecting field data for boundary surveys and construction as-built surveys
- Managing the collection of data received from 3rd party surveying firms
- Processing (reduction and drafting) data in Civil 3D
- Occasional general construction stakeout when needed
- Maintaining surveying production schedules to align with design and construction deadlines
Qualifications:
10+ years?? experience as a survey crew party chief or survey coordinator
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and strong drafting skills
Ability to read and interpret construction plans
Fluency in field data collection software
Good work ethic and time management skills
