that tract in the picture has gotten over 5 inches of rain in the last two weeks- 3 of which came in about a 30 minute span last thursday while i sat under a barn eave wondering when i was going to be able to make it to the last section of corners way off in a tree line across a routinely plowed field.
made it across that field yesterday, but just barely.?ÿ it was like surfing almost- that dirt had the consistency of pancake batter.?ÿ truck wouldn't have made it, and i MIGHT have made it on foot, but i'd still be there right now.
