US-Based Technical Sales Engineer, Pre & Post Sales
DATUMATE, a young company with a unique photogrammetry technology, is seeking a Pre & Post-Sales Technical Engineer (TSE) for the US market. The position is a full-time job, where the employee is fully dedicated to Datumate tasks. The TSE prime responsibility is to help sales organization with all technical questions related to Datumate solutions, provide demonstrations and training for potential customers and distributors, facilitate deals' closure and ensure that customers and partners are satisfied with the received support and information.
TSE Responsibilities
* Manage all the technical aspects of the US business; onsite demos and projects, webinars, presentations, responses to technical inquiries and RFPÛªs for DatumateÛªs customers and partners. Providing technical training and assistance, remotely and at customer premises.
* Technical support of DatumateÛªs sales team, providing technical pre-sale and demo sessions, remotely and at the customer premises.
* Support and attendance of the industry trade shows.
* Generation of technical training courses, materials, presentations, case studies, tutorials etc.
Qualifications
* Experienced in field survey work ÛÒ RLS/PLS surveyor - an advantage
* A graduate student in Geomatics or Surveying - a significant advantage
* Experience in working with SITECHs and / or Geospatial Trimble partners ÛÒ a significant advantage
* Other technical education and experience, such as working in the field as the head of crew
* Previous work experience in a similar position at Geomatics or Photogrammetric software or hardware company, such as: Leica, Trimble, Topcon, AutoDESK, Soccet set, ESRI or others
* Experienced user of CAD systems
* Solid knowledge of Photogrammetry
* Experienced user of Total Station and GPS RTK instruments
* Engineer ÛÒ an advantage
* Energetic and dynamic personality
* Excellent presentation and communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* A team player, eager to contribute to the team's success
* Willing to travel frequently within the US. (Over 50%)
