Most of our work is local with the occasional trip to NYC or overnight. About 50% of our work is prevailing wage municipal work with another 25% being mid to large boundary surveys.?ÿ

The primary responsibility of this position is the supervision of a survey field crew on preliminary topographic design, large and small boundary, construction, and utility projects. The crew chief will work with project surveyors to ensure that all data is collected and/or staked accurately, according to contract requirements, and in line with professional standards.?ÿ
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience as a crew chief on a wide variety of project types and sizes. The candidate should have experience with Leica and Carlson data collection and should be able to adjust maintain survey equipment. The ability to work as a team with project surveyors and technicians is essential. OSHA 10 hour and 40 hour training is helpful but not required. Survey/CAD Technician
TEC Land Surveying is seeking a survey CAD technician to join our team in Beacon, NY. We are a growing firm located in the Hudson Valley region of New York providing surveying services for a wide range of project and client types. Responsibilities for this position include computing maps and deeds, extracting data from photogrammetry and LiDAR point clouds, drafting survey maps, preparing field data for crews, and conducting deed and utility research. This is primarily an office position but occasional field work may be required.
The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Carlson Survey. A CST Certification and/or experience working with point cloud data are helpful but not required. Being able to work as part of a team and a continued desire to continually learn new skills are essential traits for this position. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
