We are currently looking for the following professional:
Assistant Chief Surveyor
Department: Engineering
$6272 - $8647 Monthly
Under the general direction of the Chief Surveyor: will coordinate, supervise and direct the work of the Survey Division and its subordinate employees; will train subordinates in a variety of technical, office, survey techniques and field application of survey methods and procedures and perform other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
License: Must have a California Land Surveyors license or a Degree in Surveying/Geomatics and L.S.I.T. certificate, in which licensure is imminent and may be obtained within an agreed upon period of time to be determined prior to hire.
Experience: Five years of experience in land surveying as a Party Chief, or equivalent supervisory office position and/or a Surveying/Geomatics degree with L.S.I.T certificate.
Education: Minimum of an AssociateÛªs degree with courses related to math, science, and surveying, a BachelorÛªs degree is preferred.
