Leica Geosystems' range of solutions enables workers in the building and construction segment fields to measure with accuracy and ease.
We currently seek an Area Sales Manager, Construction Tools who will locate and manage the development of Leica dealers in Canada. The focus is on the building and construction market segment, including BIM, and involves the promotion of optical and digital levels, rotating and slope lasers, pipe lasers, manual and robotic total stations and GPS/GNSS systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Meet or exceed sales targets through dealer sales.
Locates new and works with already established resellers and dealers to sell Segment products.
Puts together and monitors sales forecasts for the territory on a timely basis.
Organizes communication with dealers and field sales personnel to promote the sale and marketing of Segment Products.
Ability to work with dealers, sales personnel, and end user customers to demonstrate and provide operation training and assistance on the required products.
Prepares reports and entry of information into Salesforce.com or other tool as required relating to sales and budget levels.
Assists with the planning and implementation of direct mail and promotional campaigns, advertising, trade show preparation and organization.
Trade Shows - Assists as needed to organize and schedule trade shows, attends, and staff the booth as required.
Meetings - Assists where required to organize and arrange meetings for marketing and sales type functions. These include sales meetings, press briefings, open days and distributor related functions.
Frequent travel throughout Canada is required.
Bilingual English and French is a plus.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus two years related experience. Dealer Management experience required in addition to familiarity with the construction segment and related products as mentioned above.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Travel (50 – 60 %) international and domestic is associated with this job. COMPUTER SKILLS:
Fluent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and E-mail. Knowledge of Salesforce.com
and SAP needed.
