I keep running into these legal descriptions?ÿprepared by OTS people. (Other than surveyors)

How is it some folks can take?ÿthe simplest of descriptions and manage to mangle them.

Could it mean the East?ÿ?« of the East?ÿ?« of the Northwest?ÿ?¬ of the Southeast 1/3?ÿ of [The North?ÿ?¬ of section 27 .?ÿ .?ÿ .]?
