Finally took a V10 out for a real test drive yesterday. The wow factor with this is huge; have yet to determine how practical it's going to be as a day to day tool.

I was just asked to set on of these up with our local dealer!
It was by the city planners that are considering planning setbacks for new construction in existing neighborhoods, in order to determine the "average" setback distance from back of sidewalk (which they all seem to believe is the "property line"). Wild stuff!

I'd be interested to see how practical you end up finding the product. I think the V10 is a really interesting product that will end up overlapping into a variety of other industries. Like UAV's, I see these products as a great tool in the future. Not so much THE FUTURE, but certainly a great tool.

Used one myself yesterday. Cuts field time greatly and is great for the simple fact that you can use it toget missed measurements. I'm curious how difficult it may be to process the data. I think I t has the potential to serve as a replacement for a field sketch perhaps.

For the price of that system, it'd better do a whole lot more than substitute for a field sketch.
