Hi , i have a total station of trimble 5601, it was working perfectly but since last two months it stopped working and when CU is trying to connect to it a message appears "unsupported instrument model...", while the instrument is really running with itself and making sounds and beeps,
i tried connecting others CUs but nothing changed,
So what may be the problem, and how to solve it.

I suggest u backup this 5601 fw using robot's tool first
