How much line can you paint with a gallon of tree marking paint?

Not slopping it on but lets assume maybe 75 feet between painted trees. Can I get 12 mile to a can?

Can get a mile thru oak and half mile thru pine and sweetgum and cedar.

The secret is making a smooth blaze with a sharp blade and apply a smooth coat with a wide brush.

Being spring, the sap can was out the paint quickly.

Expect you and your clothes to get splattered.

Good to know, I budgeted 1 can per 1/2 mile. Draw knife to remove the and paint it.

As for the clothes if I get the job I plan on purchasing the ugliest throw away clothes from Goodwill and find some of my old wore out boots that will be thrown away as well.
