Somebody used to mention a person that made high quality cables for this. I am now needing a cable from the GPS antenna, (LegAnt) to the Legacy E GPS box. If you remember who it was, please post a source.

Thanks

Nate

Nate,
They are really nothing fancy. You can find a generic one on the net. I had a longer cable made at my local repair/radio shack. I cut the connectors off every year or so and have my guy crimp on new ones for $10 - keeps the cable fresh.

I do not remember a single individual.
I remember Western States Cable being recommended a while back. I have been fortunate to not have needed their services myself. I have the same system (Legacy E to LegAnt ant.), those are just TNC ends. I ended up buying some bulk RG8 cable, the crimping tool and several TNC ends to be able to make up my own (30', etc.) after stepping on one, slicing the machete through one.

Thanks so much guys. I finally found the SN on on of my old cables, and googled it, and found it was TNC, and ordered one. But, Now... I think I shall do what you did... crimping tool, and connectors... yeah! any length I want!
🙂

I have a 25' rod, you see! Now I need a plumb bob with a laser light, to hit the forest floor!

Nate
