I could use some help with this setup I just bought if anyone is familiar with connecting the gpt-3005w to a TSC2 with survey controller. It finds the total station in the windows Bluetooth settings, but just spins when I try to connect to it via Bluetooth in survey controller. I have messed with it for a while and cannot figure it out. Also tried a different TSC2 with the same result. It??s weird since it finds the device when adding a new partnership but won??t connect in controller. Version 12.5. Also having a terrible time getting a Trimble r6 gnss model 1 going. I have searched and spent many hours and haven??t got it going yet. Very frustrating?ÿ
Did you add the bluetooth PIN number in the connection settings??ÿ For some reason I think those guns are 1234?ÿ (it is the same combination on my luggage!)
Yes, I did. It is 1111 according to the total station. It set up successfully in windows on the tsc2, but won??t connect through the survey style that it setup in Survey Controller or Carlson SurvCE. The previous owner had a profile setup already in SurvCE, but it still won??t connect. I tried last night for a couple of hours to get it to and still have had no luck
I never had a good experience with bluetooth on those GTP series instruments. Sometimes it worked and sometimes not. I ended up just using a cable.
