I am looking to trade in my 815a topcon which has been a hammer for me, absolutely no major complaints in the last 10yrs. I am looking at either a topcon 9003 or a 5603. Not sure which has a better track record since I have been out of the market for such a long time.
I will be using a getac with field genius to run my robotic as well as my chc GPS network rover. Has anyone had issues with micro survey field genius driving either robotic?

I don't much about both models, isn't the 5603 as old as the one you are trading?
The 5603 might be, I keep hearing how solid it is.
I did see a post regarding issues with the topcons x-trac7, anyone have other problems with this?
I will be using Troy Deatons bluetooth radios to connect.

10 year is a good run with a piece of equipment, kudos.
I'd say invest in something that will bring carry you for another 10 years. Not sure if any of these two models fit the bill.
