Too Much Faith in Your Tripod

My crew has five Trimax tripods with the quick release and screw on the side. I usually only tighten the screws when I put the scanner on it. I've never had the quick release slip. We also have a Dutch Hill but I don't like it very much. The Dutch Hill is lighter but I don't care for the interior clamp release and it doesn't have a handle. The Trimax tripods are easy to carry because they have a handle.

My personal Trimax tripod only has the quick release clamp. It's the older pre Seco version which is better in some ways.
