I see OKC,OK well that says it all doesn't? No it does not explain a single thing.
I grew up it Texas PAL. I believe I was posting on the surveying portion of this website and politics ought to be out of bounds.... or not.
Just curious. How long did the "gipper" work as your I-man? I think he was between jobs from 1974 - 1980, or so.
But to your OP, I agree: A lot of knowledge and experience here. I tend to learn something new or at least see things from a different point of view on most surveying topics.

I'll bet it was Austin. You will notice, no nasty remarks nor any political aspersions.
However I didn't say what it explained. BTW I spent nearly a year in Yuppieville across the GG in Marin Co. Even have a P.M. in Northern Marin filed there.
BTW OKC explains nothing. I have lived and worked on all three coasts and from Northern Montana to the Mexican border. I started roaming this country before I was old enough for what they call pre-school and have continued to do so for 56 years and counting.
